Sea Creatures

Hi there, everyone! The last couple of days were pretty busy, especially at work, and now, when I finally got some days off, it's time to pay a visit to my blog. Today, I would like to share with you a card, actually 2 of them, inspired by one of Vera Rhuhay's amazing creations featuring Whale Wishes stamps set from Mama Elephant. When I first saw this set with beautiful orcas I couldn't but buy it since these one of the world's most powerful predators mean a lot to me. They bring back the memories of the time spent working at summer camp on Orcas Island, WA, where I was lucky enough to meet my hubby and actually see one of these gorgeous creatures. Wow, it's been already 6 years. Time really flies by... And now, without further ado, let's get right to the first card:

Once this card was ready, I've decided to replace a whale with a duck from one of my favorite stamp sets from Gerda Steiner Designs. And here is how this creation turned out:

Not bad, huh?:)
I hope you've enjoyed today's cards! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping buy!

MFT Sketch Challenge #277

Hello, crafty friends! It's been a while since I last participated in MFT Sketch Challenge and used MFT stamps as a focal point. That's why this week I've decided to turn to one of my favorite MFT stamp sets "Harvest Mouse". Since I was very short of time, I've created a simple, yet bright and beautiful card. So here is what I came up with:

And since m father-in-law is as hardworking as those mice, I guess he will be the lucky one to get this card for his birthday:)

Let's Celebrate!

Hello, crafty friends! I'm stopping by today to share a recent creation of mine which features two of my favorite clear stamp sets - "Happy Hoppy" from Gerda Steiner Designs and "Recipe for Happiness" from MFT. This time I've decided to create a fun non-traditional New Year card with lots of bright colors. I think it perfectly shows the way the Russians usually get ready for one of the biggest days of the year. We cut, mix and cook lots of different courses running all around the kitchen and listening to music. I guess this is where the whole charm lies in. And now, without further ado, let's get right to the card:

I hope you've enjoyed today's card! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

We finally got this set at one of Slovenian's online stores and I couldn't but by it since I simply fell in love with these cuties when I first saw them in February. This time I've decided to make a simple, yet lovely spring baby card with owls. And here is what I came up with:

Gerda Steiner April Challenge - Hang in there Monkey

Hello, crafty friends! I'm stopping by today to share a recent creation of mine which was inspired by an April image for Gerda Steiner's Monthly Progressive Challenge. When I first saw this little monkey hanging on the tree, I could not decide what kind of card I should create to make it to stand out from all other cards which are going to be submitted for this months challenge. I'd been thinking of creating a scene with this cutie flying with balloons or, maybe, just left him hanging on a tree, but wasn't truly satisfied with those ideas. I'd been wondering of what scene to come up with until I saw a card on the Internet with just a sentiment on it "To Infinity And Beyond". And then it struck me what kind of card I needed to create for this challenge. So here is what I came up with:

I hope you've liked today's card! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

Hi there, everyone! Can you believe it's been already 1 year since I became addicted to card making and started to write this blog?! Time really flies by! To celebrate this occasion I would like to share with you my latest Birthday card created for my mom who turns 52 years old this month. And now, without further ado, let's get right to the card:

Puddle Duck

Hello, crafty friends! I'm stopping by today to share my very first card as a Craftin Desert Divas design team member. Frankly speaking, I'm super excited to join such a fantastic design team and try to inspire many of you to create something completely awesome. For this month's Digi Stamp Challenge "Welcome Spring" I created a card using Puddle Duck Digital Stamp which is available for purchase at Craftin Desert Divas store. Since the theme this month is "Spring" I felt like creating some really bright and colorful card. And because it rains a lot in spring, I couldn't but include a puddle into my project as well:) So, without further ado, here is my card to hopefully give you some inspiration:

I hope you've enjoyed today's card! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

Watch Out!

Hi there, everyone! Hopping onto the blog very quick to share one of my latest creations which features the recently purchased "Harvest Mouse" clear stamp set from MFT. I simply fell head over heels in love with these cities when I first saw them, so as soon as I found a place to purchase them in Europe I simply placed an order without any second thought. And now it's time for the mice to take their place on my new creations. For today's card I've decided to make a fun Birthday card. And here is what I came up with:

Just wondering what will happen to this little mouse running right to the big pile of leaves.
I guess I'll need to create another card for everyone to see how this story ends:)

Hope you've liked today's card! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

Scrapping4funChallenges - Guest Designer Post

Hello, crafty friends! I'm stopping by today to share a recent creation of mine made for this week's challenge over at Scrapping4funChallenges. Since the theme of the current challenge is "Anything Goes", I've decided to go with my one of the most favorite stamp sets - Happy Hoppy Bunny from Gerda Steiner Designs. This time I chose the second bunny (the cutest one) from this set and created a Birthday theme card for a little kid. As always, lots of distress inks and bright colors:) And here is what I came up with:

I hope you've enjoyed today's card and that it has given you some inspiration for creating something new as well! Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!
