Lucky Duck or Gerda Steiner Guest Designer Call Submission #2

Hi there, everyone! Today, I've got a card for you which was inspired by Kristina Werner's trendy technique with the idea to white emboss images and only color some parts in red. I've though that the recently purchased Lucky Duck Stamp Set from Gerda Steiner Designs can perfectly fit into this card series. So here is how my creation turned out:

I would like to submit this card to a Guest Designer Call which is hosted by the amazingly talented Gerda Steiner. Hope on to her blog for more details.

Gerda Steiner Guest Designer Call + Share your Design Challenge #2

Hello, everyone! The amazingly talented Gerda Steiner is having a Guest Designer Call for the month of March 2016! I do love her cute little images, so once I came across this Guest Designer Call I decided to throw my name in the hat. Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner I wanted to make something for my loved ones. I chose an adorable "Love you Kitten" digital stamp to work with. And here is what I came up with:

I used some Distress Inks for the dark blue background and the green grass. Once the sky and the hill were finished, I watercolored the moon and added the fussy-cut image of the kitten. I also colored a shadow in front of the critter, and, in the end, I drew some (better to write lots of ) white dots on the background with a white Gel pen (Do they still look like stars?). I had a lot of fun while doing this project and I think it turned out pretty good.

Now fingers crossed and hope for the best:)

Christmas Card Invasion (Part 2)

Hi there, everyone! Today I would like to share one more creation from my holidays cards collection which was inspired by the current Lawnscaping Challenge "Winter Wonderland". I guess my second resolution for this year is to participate in these challenges as much as possible. Although I have only a couple of Lawn Fawn products, I will try to come up with some ideas of how to use them more frequently. For this challenge, I've decided to use Love You a Latte which is the first Lawn Fawn stamp set I've managed to purchase. This collection of stamps always comes in handy no matter which scene you need to create. And here is what I came up with this time:

Hope you've liked today's card! Have a nice weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Maybe it won't happen this year but at least it will be a starting point for the realization of this dream of mine. Each month Gerda hosts Share your Design Challenge which I think will be my first step to accomplishing my goal. And here is what I came up with for this month challenge:

Christmas Card Invasion (Part 1)

Hi there, everyone! Welcome to my very first post of 2016! It's already the beginning of the new year, but I guess lots of card makers are still left with some Christmas cards that didn't get a chance of making it into a blog post. Since none of the cards wants to be left behind, I've decided to bring each and every one of them to the spotlight. So, moving on to the first card ... Here I've finally get a chance to use my brand new Happy Fall stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs with many adorable squirrel images that you can use for all different occasions. The first idea that stroke my mind is to use one of the squirrels on my Christmas card. And here is what I came up with:
